Bremner's Blueberry Basil Smoothie Recipe
Use Bremner’s Frozen Blueberries & Bremner’s Blueberry Juice for this recipe!

Whether as breakfast on-the-go or a midday pick-me-up, this smoothie recipe is sure to satisfy. With a good dose of antioxidant rich Bremner’s blueberries, protein packed nuts, and fibre rich greens you are sure to fuel you up for whatever your day brings.

  • 1 cup (250 ml) Bremner’s Frozen Blueberries
  • ½ avocado, pitted, peeled and cut into chunks
  • 5 – 7 large basil leaves
  • 1 Tbps (15 ml) almond butter
  • 2 Tbsp (30 ml) hemp seeds
  • 1 handfull greens, such as spinach or kale
  • ½ cup (125 ml) Bremner’s Blueberry Juice

Place all ingredients in a blender and blend on high until smooth and creamy. Enjoy immediately garnished with additional Bremner’s Frozen Blueberries and basil leaves, if desired. Serves 1.

Chef’s Tip: This smoothie is easily customizable to your taste and what you have on hand. Don’t like avocado? Try substituting half a banana or a 1/3 cup (75 ml) young coconut meat. Also, feel free to switch up the almond butter for another nut or seed butter of your choice.

Mulled Blueberry Juice

The secret is Bremner’s Pure Blueberry Juice! This hot mulled blueberry juice is a Bremner’s tradition.
A warm, wholesome treat for the whole family. Best consumed on a cold winter’s eve surrounded by friends and family.

  • 1 x 946ml bottle of Bremner's
       Pure Blueberry Juice
  • 2 cinnamon sticks*
  • 5-7 whole cloves*
  • 3-4 star anise*
  • *Or, substitute with 2 tbls of your favourite mulling spices

Pour Bremner's blueberry juice into a pot or slow cooker and add the cinnamon sticks, cloves and star anise, or your favourite mulling spices*

Cover and simmer/steep gently, stirring just a couple of times, until hot & steaming, about 15-20mins (Do not boil).

Strain, and serve hot into mugs or wine glasses. Garnish with cinnamon stick & berries, and also fruit slices & star anise to make extra festive!

Perfect Cranberry Sauce

The Secret is Bremner’s Pure Cranberry Juice! Adding Bremner’s Pure Cranberry Juice instead of water makes this Cranberry Sauce come to life with more flavour and more zing. Perfect for this year’s Holiday feast, and your sandwich the day after.

  • 1-1/2 cup fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup of Bremner’s Pure Cranberry Juice
  • 1 cup of brown sugar
  • Lemon zest to taste

Add cranberries, sugar, and juice to a saucepan and cook on low heat for approximately 10 minutes until cranberries are soft.

Increase heat to medium and cook for 12 minutes
until cranberries burst.

Reduce to low, add lemon zest to taste,
and reduce to desired consistency.

Cool and serve at room temperature.

Bremner’s Favourite Caesar

  • 1oz Your Favourite Vodka
  • 4oz Bremner’s Caesar Mix (Perfectly Spiced or Vegan)
  • 1cup Ice Cubes
  • Lime & Celery Salt (optional)* 
Fill glass with ice, then add your favourite vodka and Bremner’s Caesar mix and stir. Then top with your favourite garnish (spiced beans, celery sticks, asparagus, pickle, the possibilities are endless)!

No need to add spices as Bremner’s Caesar mix is Perfectly Spiced!

Bremner’s Mango Smoothie

  • 1 cup Bremner’s Mango Nectar (Mango or Mango Carrot)
  • 1 cup Bremner’s frozen Mango Chunks
  • 1/2 cup Almond or Soy milk
  • 1/2 cup Organic plain or vanilla yogurt
  • 2 tbsp Hemp Hearts or Ground Chia
  • 1 tsp Grated Fresh Ginger
Blend all ingredients until smooth!
